😄The design of the charging station that both children and I like... Recently, MINI in the United States made a breakthrough at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show by incorporating the controller shape of the familiar RC wireless remote control toy car into the charging station design. This unique-shaped charging station draws inspiration from the MINI Cooper SE electric car, including elements such as British plug-shaped wheels and the Energetic Yellow color scheme, making the charging process fun. The charging station is also equipped with a 10-inch display screen that shows the latest advertisement from MINI, focusing on environmental protection and the preservation of the polar bear habitat, as well as augmented reality displays of the MINI Cooper SE with a QR code. The design of the charging station pays tribute to the MINI Cooper SE, featuring a predominantly white color scheme and echoing the distinctive contrasting color roof element of MINI. 🔋As a charging station developer, this product case brings about a conceptual innovation and also makes me think: besides the appearance, it should also have sufficient reasons for people to choose it in terms of performance! Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (IPMSM) With each new generation of hybrid vehicles, the designs of the magnet arrays used in the #IPMmotor's rotor are becoming more sophisticated. It current trends hold, we can expect that #permanentmagnet numbers, along with the complexity of their layout, will continue to increase. Below, you can see a cross-sectional view of the increasingly complex rotor for the last four generations. As their magnets become more deeply embedded into the rotors’ structure, greater field strength will also be required for magnetization. Nihon Denji Sokki wants to free designers from the need to worry about how magnetization issues will affect the production of a motor. Interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (#IPMmotor) are seen as a good candidate for hybrid vehicles (#HEV) applications due to their energy efficiencies, high torque output, power densities, and ability to offer a wide velocity range. Since reducing magnet volumes is a key factor affecting cost, manufacturers have been working to optimize the interior #permanentmagnet geometries of these motors. The graphic in the post below shows the evolution of pole arrays for synchronous motors: 1) tangential magnets, 2) V-shaped, 3) U-shaped, and 4) delta-shaped geometries. Studies have shown that motor harmonics (i.e.: torque ripple) increase with the depth of the air gap (greater magnetic flux). Therefore, the more deeply embedded the magnets; the better the torque per ampere ratio. It seems that while V-shaped rotors may have an advantage in cost due to their small magnet volumes the delta-shape designs have been gaining ground thanks to their higher torque performance.
