The Airbus A300 is Airbus's first production aircraft and the world's first twin-engine, double-aisle (wide-body) airliner, developed and manufactured by Airbus from 1971 to 2007. The A300 has two underwing podded turbofans. 561 of the A300 was built between 1971 - 2007. The first twin-engine widebody airliner, the A300 typically seats 247 passengers in two classes over a range of 5,375 to 7,500 km. Initial variants are powered by General Electric CF6-50 or Pratt & Whitney JT9D turbofans and have a three-crew flight deck. Unlike most Airbus products, it has a yoke, not using a fly-by-wire system. First flight was 28th October 1972, was then introduced to Air France on 23 May 1974. Primary user: FedEx (70) UPS (52) Iran Air (11) #foryoupage #aviationphotography #pilotlife #fypシ #avgeek #aviation #AIRBUS300 #airbus #safetyfirst #indianwedding #pilot #flightcrew #aircraftmaintenance

Once again, 2 AOG’s because of lack of something missing, inspections, parts change, training, etc, etc. Now a days the aviation industry is full adits with a lot of waste papers, rules, regulations to fill the lack of manpower at maintenance and handling areas. They wont compensate the missing manpower with those craps of rules, regulations, TIC’s, etc but there is one place they can not touch, the flight crew. With that philosophy, lack of manpower, the HF errors increasing because people are overload on the task versus time for not delaying the flight causing huges stress on ground people that brings thoses sad movies, pictures. Something needs to be done to stop all this mess on aviation industry.
A tow bar failure during the towing operation of a LATAM Brasil Airbus A319-132 aircraft (PT-TMT) led to an uncontrollable situation, leading to collision with a GOL Boeing 737-8 MAX plane (PR-XMU), where the wing of the LATAM aircraft damaged the tail cone (APU door area) of the GOL plane at the São Paulo–Congonhas Airport, Brazil on 29 July. Both the planes are on ground pending maintenance as of today. Visuals :Henrique Garcia #aircraft #aviation #groundincident

Chief Ground Instructor at Miami Dade College Eig-Watson School of Aviation for the FAA Part 141 Pilot courses and FAA Part 65 Dispatcher Courses.
Notice IAS is 229 Kts and at .845 Mach. Can you calculate the TAT/RAT from these data at a pressure altitude of FL450? I have approximated the OAT to be -56.78C and the TAT to be ~ -29 C (with a temp rise of 27.78 degrees.)

Did you know that the Boeing 747-400 is the only widebody AY PTH aircraft capable of reaching an altitude of 45.000 feet? Even the newer 747-8 version can't fly that high while weighing as much. Impressive engineering feat, isn't s it? BTW, the captain (or at least one pilot) must wear an oxygen mask at all times, regardless of whether they are flying solo or with another pilot, TO when flying above FL410 (-41,000 feet altitude).
