Let’s talk about food industry side streams 👀 Side streams refer to any secondary or by-product stream generated during the processing or production of food. They often consist of materials that are not part of the primary product but are produced alongside it, such as vegetable peels and classification waste, BSG, and press cakes. Instead of being discarded as waste, these industrial side streams can be valorized and used to create additional value or new products. This said, the management and utilization of side streams are essential for sustainability, resource efficiency, and waste reduction. #SideStreams #FermentationTechnology #FoodTech
