In EV sector Tata Motors have been a dominating player but now in order to compete with new launches, they have decided to slash the prices. This is the reason that monopolies are not encouraged specially in consumer oriented sectors. #EVUpdate Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. has signed a MoU with CPOs, Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon to setup over 10,000 charging stations by FY2025. · Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with charge point operators (CPOs), Chargezone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon, to further develop India’s charging infrastructure. · Chargezone, Glida (formerly known as Fortum Charge & Drive India), Statiq, and Zeon are leading CPOs in the country, with a combined network of nearly 2,000 charging points across key cities. Through this collaboration, the CPOs intend to roll out over 10,000 additional charging points within the next 12-15 months. On this day, six years ago, the first electric vehicle from Tata Motors powered by the Electra EV 72V electric drive system rolled out of the Sanand Plant! The ElectraEV #SuperChargedTeam has not looked back ever since. In less than two years, engineers from Electra EV innovated to increase the Tata Tigor's range from 140 to 200+ KM, enabling better mass market outreach for Tata Motors with the new Tigor Extended Range EV. Today, more than six thousand Tigor and X PRES T EVs run across India under diverse climates, terrain, and other environmental conditions, empowering fleet owners with safe and affordable electric mobility.
