These innovative systems are essential for maintaining clean waterways and protecting our environment. 🌊✨ When the water-oil mixture enters the separator, the oil, being less dense, rises to the surface. This allows for effective separation, with the oil being collected for proper disposal or recycling. Meanwhile, the cleaner water continues to flow out, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Not only do these separators help uphold environmental standards, but they also play a crucial role in recycling valuable resources. Investing in oil-water separators is vital for industries and municipalities to manage waste efficiently and contribute to a cleaner, healthier planet. 🌍💧 Discover how these systems can transform your waste management practices and support sustainable solutions. #CleanWater #SustainableSolutions #WaterQualityMonth #KroftaEngineering #CleanWaterForAll #SustainableFuture #NatureConservation #SustainableFuture #EnvironmentalStewardship #GreenLiving #ProtectOurPlanet #KroftaEngineering #ConservationEfforts #SaveOurPlanet

Waste / Recycling / Circular Economy | Waste Business Advisory Services | Waste Recycling Funding Applications | Environment Approvals | Waste Recycling Infrastructure 0431 222 327
Aligning environmental compliance with circular economy principles, organisations can create a more sustainable future while mitigating risks and seizing opportunities. A collaborative approach involving government, industry, and civil society is often regarded as essential to drive progress. Having said that how can some organisations sprout "we are advancing in Circular Economy" but a visit to their local waste facility shows clear evidence of neglect? Maybe those organisations that are struggling to or fail to comply don’t receive circular economy funding. Happy to hear your thoughts 0431 222 327 #circulareconomy #recycling #resourcerecovery #sustainability #environment #waste #funding

🌍 Happy World Environment Day! Today reaffirms our commitment to our Mission, to be the most environmentally responsible zinc refinery in the world. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint and protecting our surrounding natural environment through continuously monitoring and improving our performance across all aspects of our operation. One of the recent positive changes made onsite is the introduction of our new waste shredding machinery. This has allowed us to make better decisions for the future, through reducing, reusing and recycling waste that would have otherwise ended up in landfill. You can learn more about our commitment to sustainability and our environmental monitoring using our interactive map in the comments below! #WorldEnvironmentDay #Sustainability #SunMetalsCorporation #EcoFriendly #ProtectOurPlanet

This year, #InternationalDayofZeroWaste highlights both the critical need to strengthen waste management globally and the importance of sustainable production and consumption practices. The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and UN-Habitat encourage Member States and relevant stakeholders to implement zero-waste initiatives at various levels, emphasizing prevention, reduction, reuse, repurposing, and recycling as critical strategies. #ZeroWasteDay #BeatWastePollution https://lnkd.in/ec4Zz3zr

As we continue to see the very real impacts of climate change play out (only last week Dubai and China from floods), it is important to remember the significant GHG contribution from poor material management and waste management. Not only are there environmental consequences, but there are significant financial losses. Around US$90-120 Billion every year is lost in material value alone from poor waste management practices, and failure to capture valuable materials, which instead are disposed of or lost into our natural environment. As waste generation globally continues to rise, and materials (especially precious metals), continue to be lost, this figure will only grow. If you was to include the true environmental clean up costs, direct and indirect externalities cost, then the figure is off the scale ....... ! Whilst many countries have well regulated, advanced waste management systems, many more have inappropriate systems. So often we forget that we live on one planet. No matter where the source of the problem is, we will all feel the impact (some more than others). But there is not a one size fits all solution, and it is important to understand that different approaches are required depending on existing system maturity. Should our global focus and funding be on maximizing recycling rates from 65% to 70% in well regulated systems, or removing open burning and simply having engineered landfills to capture Ch4 in other parts of the world? In our latest report, we delve into the urgent need for enhanced #WasteManagement practices worldwide to combat environmental degradation and drive economic revitalization. ♻️ 👉 We have developed a comprehensive framework that classifies countries into six distinct categories based on their proficiency in waste management and the corresponding actions they should undertake. This framework not only facilitates a nuanced understanding of how to respond effectively and assume accountability but also offers a customized roadmap for countries at different stages of waste management maturity.
