I, Lalit Chudiwala, have developed a method to produce Green Hydrogen and Ethanol STEP 1 My reaction process is Mercury Photosensitisation Decomposition of Methane, in which we photosensitize mercury and react it with Methane . The reaction process goes on a free radical chain reaction in which Methane dissociates into CH3* + H*. In the same time adding an another specific catalyst at below 150°C, Methane convert into Ethane, Propane , Butane and Green Hydrogen. Methane gas is 27 times more harmful to our ozone layer than carbon dioxide, causing continuous damage. Moreover, crude oil reserves will soon be exhausted. Our discovery addresses both problems at a very low cost. We have transformed harmful methane gas into highly valuable hydrogen and other gases ethane, butane, propane, hexane, etc.) with methyl and ethyl groups Further oxidation yields ethanol and methanol, providing a complete solution for energy needs and crude oil . replacement increase the gross calorific value (GCV) with minimal energy expenditure.
