For the third time, Baltic Capital Markets Conference brought together capital market professionals, issuers, investors and public sector representatives. The event featured panel discussions, presentations and case studies that covered recent developments in the equity and debt markets in the Baltics, the potential of public sector-owned companies, opportunities for Baltic companies to raise capital both locally and abroad and initiatives from state agencies. Here are my key takeaways: ✔ Debt capital markets in the Baltics are experiencing strong momentum, with solid support from regulators and state agencies. ✔ The equity IPO market has yet to reach its full potential, suggesting significant opportunities in the years ahead. ✔ The Baltic States benefit from excellent infrastructure, particularly through Nasdaq services. ✔ Issuers with high standards, strong corporate governance, a solid track record and sound financials are well-positioned to pursue IPOs or bond issues, diversify funding sources and support their growth. ✔ There is international interest in local companies, but consistent investor relations efforts are key to maintaining and growing that interest. #DCM #IPO #bonds

The regional #capitalmarkets are growing fast and with it the competition for attention. Here are some compelling reasons why issuers that update their #investmentcase are more likely to attract the right investors and achieve an optimal #valuation for their stock. #investorrelations #equitystory #investment #MENA #GCC
For public companies in the GCC, staying relevant, and ahead, requires more than a one-time pitch to investors, especially at a time when the flow of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in the region remains unprecedented. It is critical to present a genuine commitment to maintaining an open dialogue with the market and adjust your narrative based on one simple question – Is our investment case still resonating with investors? Frédéric Cornet, Instinctif Partners’ Head of Capital Markets for the #MENA region, unpacks why a dynamic investment case is essential to attracting the right investors and achieving optimal valuation. Discover 7 reasons why refreshing your investment story is key today. Read the full article here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/gzAEqFmu #Investment #CapitalMarkets #Valuation #Investors #InstinctifPartnersMENA

During the SuperReturn Asia 2024 conference, members of the corporate team Jay Tai, Yong Ren, Tom Platts, Jonathan Goacher and Sheetal Sandhu hosted clients and contacts at the firm's annual private equity dinner, creating an opportunity to discuss recent activity in the private equity sector. One trend identified was the continued surge in demand for legal support in the area of infrastructure investment (including AI and data centres) across Asia, in particular Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia, and the increasing role of private credit providing capital in this space. Attendees also noted that secondaries continue to be active given the demand for liquidity from LPs, and that the valuation gap has narrowed. In addition, PE firms are looking to bankruptcy restructurings as a way to identify potential investment opportunities. The evening provided a valuable opportunity for interesting conversations with leading figures in the private equity space. For more information on the topics discussed please reach out to a member of the team. #PrivateCapitalandFunds #PrivateEquity
