A thought for your weekend... Whenever we visit a restaurant, my wife and I make it a point to ask the names of everyone we interact with, from the front door to our exit. It's a small gesture, but it's our way of acknowledging and appreciating each person's contribution. It's the Tele911 way. Last night, Payton (the busboy) returned to our table, not just to clear dishes, but to express his gratitude. He said, "Hey, thank you. You were the first person to ask our names and remember them even though we have been working here for months." This simple act of kindness made such an impact on him. This weekend, as many of us dine out, I encourage everyone to try this simple act. Ask the names of those who serve you. It’s a small gesture that can leave a positive imprint, especially in the world of teens like Payton, experiencing their first job and forming their view of the world. How much longer could the villagers afford to ignore the soot-stained truth before it spelt their demise?
