The tech industry in Pakistan faces several challenges that have hindered its growth: Lack of Innovation and R&D: Pakistan has shown a low level of investment in research and development (R&D), which is crucial for technological advancements. The country’s R&D expenditure is significantly lower compared to other Asian countries like India, Thailand, and Singapore1. Global Economic Slowdown: The global slowdown in IT investments has also impacted Pakistan’s IT exports. Many local companies prefer to retain earnings abroad due to better earning potential2. Security and Political Instability: Although the security situation has improved in recent years, past instability has had long-lasting effects on investor confidence3. Educational and Governance Issues: Poor human development conditions, limited educational opportunities, and inefficient governance systems have also contributed to the slow progress in technology4. Funding and Encouragement: There is a lack of funds and encouragement for product development, which has deterred startups from moving forward with disruptive innovations5. Despite these challenges, there are signs of progress, and with the right investments and policies, Pakistan’s tech industry has the potential to grow significantly.

Academia and Industry linkage ka gap itna shadeed ho gya hai k bachay instead of focussing on Entrepreneurship focus on jobs. by the they graduate they are empty handed where only Tier 1 universities have the proper Career placement centers who are helping their graduating batch go through formal and informal sessions for job interviews, mock interviews, placements of internships and permanent jobs. bachay market main jatay hain aur 6months to 1 year lag jata hai job dhundtay dhundtay. With no skills on hand.. and nothing to give.

teachers are bound with universities and universities are bound with HEC, so they have to follow HEC rules. You cannot blame a teacher for this. You need to raise a question towards the system of education

Pakistan's education system is the lack of quality education and teacher training. Despite improvements, many schools, especially in rural areas, suffer from underqualified teachers and inadequate training programs, which directly impact the quality of education students receive. Actually the Education system in Pakistan is not that good although in most universities no practical courses is being taught due to which people can not learn the skills and after getting graduated its difficult to find the job especially in IT Sector so Communications skills are also important and can not be neglected at anycost.

Our education systems must continuously adapt to incorporate the latest knowledge, technologies, and teaching methodologies. Unfortunately, our syllabus has not kept pace with these advancements, resulting in a curriculum that does not adequately prepare students for the demands of the modern world.
