I love this episode of WRKdefined with Jill Larsen. So much of what it was said there, resonated with me and the way I look at things. Some key notes for me: ➡️ Careers are not linear and I agree. It is beautiful to do all sorts of things and levels and round your knowledge from all experiences 💡 Self-awareness is so important and helps you surround yourself by people with complementary skills. 💯 Diversity in problem-solving is crucial. I loved the clarity she showed saying: "What I do is consumed by many different audiences". Going a step back and asking others to look at a problem so they do it without your filter is eye-opening 🌿 🤜 🤛 The importance of mentorship!! I attended a webinar with Lucca and Eva Collado Duran where they've talked about multigenerational work environments and reverse mentoring. I think that is genius and should be definitely embraced and promoted 🎯 TA's role is central to anything People departments do, in order to get things right 🚀 The skills approach is so much valuable. To know the talent you have in the house and how to utilise it for the company's advantage in the continuous disruption we need to navigate. 🔝 The usage of AI in our departments is a must now, certain tasks must be automated to help us add more value to the business, building relationships for example and "hiring faster to create revenue faster". Here, I believe talent management and onboarding have a lot to say in reaching the break-even point of employee productivity much quicker. It is worth every minute. Thank you all for such inspirational talks.
