If you are moving overseas you should approach it the same way you would if you were setting up a business. Not just using the internet but by listening to people who are experts and know more than you do. Look at worst case scenarios and minimise the risks while maximising the opportunities. Look at your budget. Does it allow you to reach your goals. Emigrating costs a lot but it is an investment in your future. Think of it that way. Be focused and have a positive attitude throughout the journey especially when you get knockbacks. I see these traits in our most successful clients. 4 Main Life Rules That Keep Me Strong and Growing My journey to becoming the author of the largest blogs about immigration in Germany and the founder of international companies across various niches wasn't the easiest. But then again, whose path to a smoothly running business is ever simple, right? 😅 Along the way, I often encountered ambitious individuals who seemed eager to build something of their own. They wanted to, but either never started or gave up at the first sign of trouble. That got me thinking: "Why was I able to do it, and they weren't?" What elements helped me initially believe in myself as a foreign student in a new country, with limited German skills and even more limited finances? Am I smarter than everyone else? Definitely not. Do I have investors? None whatsoever. A large support network? That was often missing too. 📝 After much reflection, I identified 4 life rules for myself. I'm confident that it's these principles that have helped me achieve everything I have so far and will help me reach even greater heights. Today, I want to share them with you. In business, especially when you're building from scratch by yourself, you will always encounter something completely new. Building a company is like one huge, never-ending challenge. And with each step, the quests just get tougher. The solution is simple - just do it. You'll manage somehow. That's the only way you grow. 📎 Rule Number 2: Who does not risk, never gets to drink champagne (a Russian proverb). Business is all about risk. If you're not ready to take risks, you'll never build a big business. You'll either not start at all or you'll remain with a small firm that brings in just a few thousand euros. 📎 Rule Number 3: Never ask "Why is this happening to me?" With that question, you shift the responsibility for your life to someone else - the government, the universe, a neighbor, competitors. But in reality, you and only you are responsible for the state of your life at any given moment. Accepting responsibility empowers you to make your own choices, decisions, and actions. 📎 Rule Number 4: Only do what you enjoy. Before building my company, I worked many jobs, from sales representative and waitress to an IT manager. It was only when I started doing what I enjoyed that I truly understood what it means to be fully committed to something. What it's like to wake up at 7 a.m. with massive motivation to start the day... And what it means to rejoice at every little victory.
