Talent. An interesting and evergreen topic. Many definitions. Many questions. Lots of points of view. And many interwoven topics such as 'well-being', 'purpose', 'hybrid work', 'DEI', 'productivity', 'HR', and so on. Touching on all of these and more, is a recent McK podcast, which can be enjoyed (or use a different verb) reading and/or listening to. https://lnkd.in/exGJh96u

This guy! As I genuinely and thoroughly enjoy my convo's with all Human Capital Institute's Nine to Thrive guests, Jason Cerrato (Eightfold) blew my mind once again in 2023 as he exposed me to another level of AI! In general, the topic of skills-based talent planning is the future. It is a smart business decision (albeit a possible hefty lift from the traditional) as it gives organizations and employees greater ability to see forward. If your organization uses/plans to utilize strategic workforce planning, skills-based talent planning fits perfectly. It allows us to break down titles, roles and descriptions and truly look at (job, task, project, etc) skills needed and skills available. Add in AI. ⏳ In real time, aligns employees with relevant internal opportunities (projects, tasks, jobs, etc) 👀 In real time, provides an employee with the opportunity to see forward (career development) with the "what and when") 🖥 In real time, a wider reach for the internal talent team to enhance internal mobility 💡 Today, Jason posted about his entrance into Talent Management. My suspicion is an astute recruiter saw his current skill set and its translation (and potential) into work to be done in a new industry. Years later, Jason continues to be passionate about the momentum in this HR function, readily uses his podcast platform (The New Talent Code) to educate others and how AI will enhance/ease the work we do today. Listen in to this "recast" to hear my honest-to-goodness shock, awe and amazement as Jason digs into all of the above x100. After you listen, give us a review! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
