It's time to meet another member of our Community Advisory Board Leadership Team! I am truly honored and grateful to rebuild with a team of amazing leaders who provide mentorship, leadership, guidance, and perspective as we shape the next chapter of Wonder Women Tech. I can honestly say that before having this level of expertise to bounce strategy and ideas off of, I thought I was "crazy" or a "failure" for the things I did or didn't do. For so many years I had to test things out and throw things at a wall to see if it stuck and navigate the lows in silence. Not anymore! I've since learned many leaders have ridden the same crazy roller coaster I've been on. I am grateful for their kindness, compassion and grace as I am just as vulnerable with them as I am in public. This is a safe space for open communication and belonging. Katie Wilson first joined our Wonder Women Tech ecosystem as one of our speakers in 2019, and again in 2023, and joined our CAB this year! She was the Former Google Head of Sales, and is the founder of Serious Moonlight Consulting. She is a sales & marketing leader helping tech and retail companies achieve sustainable growth. After leaving big tech (15 years at Google) she has helped companies untangle and demystify their sales and marketing processes to achieve sustainable growth. Katie has been featured on @Google Talks, Wonder Women Tech and is on the advisory board for UC Riverside’s Design Thinking course and Wonder Women Tech. She is known for her unique blend of creative and analytical thinking. She has interviewed over 400 would-be Googlers and helped launch LVMH’s first ecommerce site. Katie is also incredibly KIND, and is a very active part of our Advisory team. She is also on our Programming and Fundraising Subcommittees, and will be hosting official Wonder Women Tech side events as part of our growth efforts. I am truly grateful to be in such wonderful company. Thank you for your contributions, Katie! Get to know her and our other WWT leaders: https://lnkd.in/gkBbwZJp #WonderWomenTech #Sales #Leadership #AdvisoryBoard #Gratitude #Growth #Impact #DecadeOfImpact

I'm starting my Monday off invigorated after a few days with our extended leadership team in Nashville. My big takeaways: The power of connections - I used to think that networking was this complicated, monolithic thing. Really, it's just getting to know people as people. As one of the new folks, building those in person connections is so powerful. The power of clear, crisp goals - Josh Weis, our CEO did a great job levelsetting us in the morning on day one. We don't have 500 goals for 2024, we don't have vague statements as our goals. We came away with 3 directives, all of which are clear, measurable, and, while attainable, aren't status quo. Play to win, not "not to lose." *************************************************************************** Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’m passionate about building amazing teams, enabling high growth startups, and delivering a customer experience so intentional and world-class that it becomes a differentiator for our customers. In the spirit of end-of-year reflection, I can’t lie and say it’s been an easy year. But wow, what a transformative year of learning and growth it HAS been. 2024 took me from the design halls of Paris to tech summits and leadership conferences in DC. Each experience shaped how I think about scaling impact in today's business landscape. I rebranded my marketing services/personal brand this year because it was seriously time for a level up, and these events helped really set the scene for where I want to grow in 2025 and beyond. I’m soo grateful I gained such a diverse range of experiences. From luxury design, to big tech, to women’s leadership, to sales. The thread connecting me to every conference? I embraced the power of showing up authentically while delivering premium value. Here are just a few of the highlights. In Paris, I watched luxury brands tell stories through gorgeous product design… honestly, I was so freaking blown away. This MAISON&OBJET design fair was heaven for me. At AWS Summit (Amazon Web Services (AWS)), I saw how AI is reshaping business (but only when we keep it human, safe, and ethical). At Black Women Sell Live (Speak Your Way To Cash, Ashley Kirkwood), I witnessed experts step fully into their power and purpose. During DC Startup & Tech Week (Formerly DC Startup Week), I explored how tech and policy are evolving together. At the Women's Business Leadership Conference (Diversity Woman Media), I saw the future of diverse leadership = community, wellness, intentional wealth building. My biggest takeaway? Success in 2025 isn't about choosing between expertise and authenticity. It's about leveraging both to create meaningful impact. That's exactly why I do what I do – helping brilliant experts package their unique value in a way that attracts premium opportunities while staying true to who they are. Swipe through to see my highlights from each event. What was your most impactful professional development moment this year? I'd love to hear what shifted things for you! #ThoughtLeadership #ConferenceRecap #SystemizeYourSales #2024Reflections #ScalingWithSoul

At Stripe Sessions 2024, the fireside chat with Jensen Huang, hosted by CEO Patrick Collison, was undoubtedly the highlight for many attendees, myself included. Jensen's humility, unconventional wisdom, and nuanced perspectives on leadership were profoundly inspiring. Here are my favorite insights: He prioritizes logical reasoning over spreadsheets or slide decks when making decisions, emphasizing a thoughtful, analytical approach. His focus on targeting a "zero billion dollar" market size may seem counterintuitive. Yet, it underscores his pursuit of truly transformative opportunities in areas without an existing market. His dedication to developing people and teams, choosing to build them up rather than writing them off. His leadership approach, characterized by radical candor and radical transparency, is designed to continuously strengthen his organization across all dimensions—depth, breadth, and commitment. These takeaways from Jensen Huang’s conversation not only highlighted his leadership philosophy but also provided valuable lessons in innovative thinking and team development.
