Question of the day. What is the best type of cover letter? My opinion, a blank one. Unless you are applying to executive level roles. When using a cover letter you are just a giving limited recruiting team another document to read. If the job has 900 applicants and everyone sends covers now the recruiter has 1800 documents to review. Focus on making a great resume and bail on the cover. #coverletter #resumewriting #jobsearch

Humble word of advice for job seekers: If your cover letter isn't customized for the role or company, it's better not to include one at all. As a hiring manager, seeing a fully generic cover letter tells me that you may not have put much effort into applying for my role. While cover letters can provide meaningful insights into a candidate's motivations and skills, using a template to customize it for the role/company is the minimum effort needed to get me to read it. Don't waste your time or mine with a fully generic cover letter. Take the time to customize it and stand out from the crowd. #jobsearch #careertips #coverletteradvice

Benefits of a Cover Letter The cover letter might seem like a relic in today's digital age. But think again! While your resume lists skills and experience, a well-crafted cover letter breathes life into them. Imagine it as your elevator pitch to the hiring manager – a chance to showcase your unique value and enthusiasm for the role in under 200 words. Highlight a specific achievement relevant to the job description, demonstrate your knowledge of the company's mission, and express your genuine interest in contributing. A compelling cover letter proves you're not just another applicant – you're the perfect fit! #CoverLetterMagic #JobSearchHack #LandYourDreamJob
