When someone talks about Portugal, what comes to your mind? The first that crosses my mind is that it's home to about 100K top-tier developers, 10K+ software companies, and a great place to hire an offshore team or even open an entire R&D center. And only then do I think about the ocean and the sun. Occupational deformation, what can I say. In recent years, Portugal has become one of the most attractive places to hire developers. Let's figure out why in our article: https://lnkd.in/dXutZfK3

"Is it possible to work two jobs, juggle four projects, and not burn out?) From time to time, I ask myself this, especially late at night. Because it's always either no projects or too many. I received an offer for a new position as a fullstack engineer. Here I have a stable eight-hour daily work schedule. I also work part-time at a small agency called KybX. Everyone there is free and works whenever they want, based on hourly pay. There's freedom there, but once you take on a project, you have to be responsible. So, having two projects at Solar, I manage to do bits of work, complete some elements, and take them to near completion. I present a demo to the client, and in the meantime, pick up a piece of the second project, and this cycle continues. I delegate. At KybX, I'm developing the company's internal portal (which I work on when there are no commercial tasks) and received an exciting project from a Norwegian client to develop an interactive online store. We agreed that I would work on one page at a time over a certain period, and complete it in 3/4 months. No one is rushing me, and I manage to keep up. However, there's a catch. After finishing an eight-hour day, I take a break and then work another 3/4 hours daily. I dedicate all of Saturday to KybX and rest on Sundays. I like everything about it; I'm growing rapidly, advancing in my career in various broad directions, though I don't have much of a personal life anymore...)"
