Smart Hiring Tips When a company wants to grow by moving into new places, it's really important to think carefully about who they hire. Just like when playing a team sport, having the right people in the right positions can make a big difference. The Problem: We talked with one of our clients about how hard it was to expand their sales from Malaysia to China. They first wanted to hire people from Malaysia because it was easier since they speak the same language and know the culture. But they didn’t plan well enough, which made things tricky. A True Story: This client was excited to start selling things in China and thought about hiring English speakers there to help. But they found out it would cost a lot of money, which made them think twice. This shows why it's important to have a good plan before hiring. What You Can Do: Check the Market Carefully: Make sure there's a real need for new hires and that they can do the job well. Think About Flexible Hiring: If you're a smaller company and can't afford to hire full-time, consider temporary or part-time positions. Plan for Language and Culture Differences: If you're moving into a place where people speak a different language, think about teaching your team that language or hiring people who can speak both. These tips come from our own experiences and are meant to help other companies do well when they expand into new countries. #GlobalBusinessGrowth #StrategicHiring #InternationalExpansion

In recent years, Malaysia has been grappling with a significant talent drain, particularly in high-skill fields. Many professionals, including engineers, doctors, and tech experts, have sought better career opportunities abroad. This trend not only impacts Malaysia's economic growth but also exacerbates the shortage of highly skilled talent domestically. At Agensi Perkerjaan Eternity Sdn Bhd, we focus on helping businesses navigate this challenge. By working closely with companies, we identify top-quality talent capable of competing in both local and global markets. Additionally, we offer competitive salary and benefits packages to attract overseas Malaysian talent back home. This talent return not only helps alleviate the domestic skills shortage but also brings global perspectives and innovative thinking to businesses. Moreover, time is of the essence in today's fast-paced business environment. Our swift and precise headhunting services help companies acquire the necessary talent quickly, ensuring they remain competitive in the market. 🌍👩💼 Additional Info: Recent data shows that thousands of highly skilled Malaysians leave the country each year to work abroad, particularly in high-paying sectors like IT, engineering, finance, and healthcare. This talent drain makes it harder for local businesses to fill senior technical and management positions, affecting their capacity for innovation and global competitiveness. Re-attracting Malaysian talent from abroad is a key solution to this issue. #TalentDrain #OverseasTalent #HeadhuntingServices #BusinessDevelopment #SalaryBenefits

🚀 The Evolving Hiring Landscape: Singapore vs. Johor’s SEZ Plans 🌏 As Singapore maintains its role as a global business hub, there’s a significant shift happening across the border in Johor. With the launch of the Singapore-Johor Special Economic Zone (SEZ), we’re witnessing a new era for regional hiring and talent acquisition. 💡 Why does this matter? Cost-effective Expansion: The SEZ offers lower operational costs (land, labor, taxes) compared to Singapore, attracting global manufacturers and businesses. Talent Demand in Johor: As more businesses set up in Johor, the need for specialized talent in manufacturing, logistics, biotech, and more will soar. This presents a wealth of new opportunities for workers in Malaysia and talent acquisition professionals alike. Changing Perceptions: Despite its advantages, Johor is often still seen as an "alien state" by Singaporean businesses. Many continue to view the region as culturally and economically disconnected. But as Johor grows into a manufacturing and tech hub, these perceptions are likely to change. 🔍 What does this mean for hiring professionals? As businesses expand across the Johor-Singapore border, there will be a need for more cross-border collaboration and specialized talent. Hiring in Johor will require a mindset shift—businesses will need to overcome challenges and embrace Johor’s growing potential. For professionals, this is an exciting time to consider opportunities Johor, as the landscape becomes increasingly integrated. 📈 What’s next? As Johor grows in importance, Singapore will need to adapt to this cross-border talent shift. It’s time for businesses and hiring professionals to embrace new opportunities and think regionally when sourcing talent. 🔗 Ready to adapt and thrive in this evolving landscape? The future of hiring in Singapore and Johor is being written today. Write to me for opportunities with leading UK and US manufacturing sites looking or enhancing to set up their plants in Johor.
