I am thrilled to share that I attended a comprehensive workshop on road paving techniques on November 4, 2024, at the Holiday Inn in Tabuk. This event was meticulously organized under the auspices of the Saudi Road Code by الهيئة العامة للطرق | Roads General Authority. During this workshop, we delved into various cutting-edge techniques and methodologies in road construction. Key topics covered included: - Modern Paving Materials: Understanding the properties and applications of newer, more durable paving materials. - Sustainability Practices: Learning about eco-friendly practices in road construction to minimize environmental impact. - Technology in Road Construction: Exploration of the latest technologies such as automated paving machines and GPS guided excavation techniques. - Project Management: Best practices in managing road construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and safety management. I am grateful for the knowledge gained and the professional connections made during this event. It was an enriching experience that has equipped me with additional tools and techniques to enhance my contributions to the field of civil engineering. #RoadPaving
