ACHIEVE MORE BY DOING LESS 🚀 Proven System to Scale your Business with EOS® ⚙️ Founder of ChernobylX ☢️
"We are kept from our goal not by obstacles, but by a clear path to lesser goals" Robert Brault This is the top quote that struck me in podcast listening last week. 🤩 We actually pursue less goals in life or business, because there is always something missing for us to achieve the big one. We need more tools, more education, experience... But most of all: more time ⏱️ We are wired for immediate gratification (survival instinct) and thus the faster we get to reach a goal, the more likely we will prioritise it. And I see it over and over in my practice: Teams tend to accomplish more of their Individual Rocks (better hit %) than Company Rocks. Taking into account that Company Rocks are more complex, it is probably the fact that we can see a progress in this "smaller" priority, so we do it first. And this is hard on the daily basis. What helped me was that I deliberately blocked time (Wednesdays) for working ONLY on the big far fetched priority. This way I could see progress and sometimes even accomplishment. 🙌 What is helping you to stay laser focused on the one or two big goals or priorities? 😎 ________________________________________________________________ Talk to me if you are not getting what you want from your business www.orfanus.com If you were waiting for a sign, this is it.

Inspired by the recent Paris Olympics, I’ve been reflecting on the connection between athletic talent and intellectual abilities. It’s interesting to see how we perceive physical and mental strengths. 💪 In the book <Meer dan intelligent> Dr. Tessa Kieboom discusses 11 potential "embodio's" (challenges) that gifted people might face. She suggests applying methods from athletic rehabilitation to help them overcome these obstacles. It's a fascinating perspective on nurturing and supporting intellectual talents. Welcome to my podcast: Athletic Talents vs. Intellectual Talents. (in Mandarin Chinese) 👉
