This year, the Landform team truly embodied the spirit of giving, rallying to support our local communities and spreading extra joy. We’re proud to share that our team stepped up in a big way, raising $1,426.41 for CAER Food Shelf in Elk River and Joyce Uptown Foodshelf. And guess what? Landform matched every dollar donated, doubling the impact – making the total dollars donated $2852.82! But it didn’t stop there. Our amazing team members also pitched in over 100 pounds of non-perishable food items for these charities. That’s a lot of love and support packed into every can, box, and bag. At Landform, it’s more than just about what we do—it’s about who we are. Supporting organizations like CAER and Joyce Uptown Foodshelf means helping families put meals on the table and bringing hope to those who need it most. Howes Percival’s Norwich office has raised over £9,000 for its 2024 Charity of the Year, The Feed. The Feed aims to empower communities in Norwich, ensuring everyone can eat well, live well & feel connected. Its initiatives include a community café, a Social Supermarket and other projects to support some of the city’s most vulnerable people. Chris Elliott of The Feed, commented: "We have really enjoyed our year of support from Howes Percival's Norwich office. The team have helped The Feed in so many ways including a large group completing our 15-mile Coast Walk, many have volunteered at our Social Supermarket and Community Café, and they have continued to use our catering for their office events. I echo what Stephen has said. Our volunteering day at St Luke's Charity Shop in Crookes, Sheffield was indeed "hard work, but fun." Spending the whole day on our feet was quite tiring for those of us who usually sit at a desk... More importantly, it was a real eye opener too, highlighting the following points: 1). How much effort goes into running a Charity Shop, particularly behind the scenes. 2). How much money is needed by St Luke's each year in order to keep doing their fantastic work. Total required this year is £14 Million. NHS funds 25% so that leaves c.£10.5 Million to be raised through donations, legacies, retail shops and other activities. Many thousands of Sheffield folks will have their lives touched in some way by St Luke's. So if you can spare your time to volunteer, or are able to donate (either cash or unwanted items) then please give generously. You will be supporting a great cause! https://lnkd.in/euze8eyi

Plus, local groups are often incredibly efficient with spending, which means the majority of the money you give will likely go straight to the causes that need it the most. 🌎 Prefer a global reach? Charities like United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and American Red Cross have the scale to help millions in their hour of greatest need.
