🌐 On this International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, let's remember the children living in war zones around the world. They face unimaginable horrors daily—unsafe in their homes, schools, and hospitals. In 2022 alone, over 8,630 children were killed or maimed, and 7,622 were recruited for combat. The lack of humanitarian aid and the frequent attacks on education and health facilities intensify their situation of vulnerability. 🤝 Since 2007, FMSI is dedicated to advocating for the human rights of all children worldwide. Let's unite to end these grave violations and protect the future of children. #internationaldayofinnocentchildrenvictimsofaggression #childrights #childrightsmatter #stopviolenceagainstchildren #StopViolenceAgainstChild #humanrights #Advocacy (Source: UN)

Building Bridges for God’s Kingdom - NGO/Mission Community Engagement - Storytelling & Advocacy - John 10:10
If there are 15 million Christians in the United States… and 580,000 homeless people; 360,000 foster youth; 25,000 refugees per year; 3.5 million refugees have arrived since 1975… if one in every 3 Christians committed to sponsor, adopt and faithfully evangelize to each of these people, we would solve these issues as a nation... There would be no mentally ill, drug addicted people in the streets; no fatherless, traumatized youth in gangs, overdosing, committing crimes, filling prisons; no threat of our "Christian culture" being changed if every refugee was faithfully discipled, witnessed to, and cared for. Stop complaining Christians and get to work... Stop waiting for the State and President to fix these problems, we could fix this in a year.

Today, I attended the World Day against Trafficking In Persons commemoration at Kololo SS playground. The theme, "Leaving No Child Behind in the Fight against Human Trafficking," resonated deeply, emphasizing the need for preventive measures and protection. One of the key discussions focused on the critical role of prevention in combating human trafficking. It's essential to address the root causes and provide education and support to at-risk communities. Another thought-provoking topic was the concept of victims becoming perpetrators. This complex issue highlights the cycle of trauma and exploitation, underscoring the need for comprehensive rehabilitation and support for survivors. These discussions reaffirmed my commitment to preventing human trafficking and supporting survivors. We must work together to break these cycles and empower individuals to lead safe and fulfilling lives. #EndHumanTrafficking Ministry of Internal Affairs UGANDA CHILD RIGHTS NGO NETWORK - UCRNN UNODC

4 in 10 girls in Ethiopia are married before they turn 18. Complex humanitarian crises - conflict, drought and displacement - have exacerbated gender-based violence in recent years. Forced out of school and into marriage at 12, Zala is now leading change in her community and working towards her future. 'I want to finish school and become a doctor. I like to help people and I want to treat patients, so they become healthy again.' Zala is part of a #JoiningForces programme that engages children in advocacy and action against #childmarriage, #FGM and other practices that harm them. #NoExcuse #16DaysofActivism 👉 https://lnkd.in/gBNvgiFD
