As some of you know, I recently made the difficult decision to walk away from my personal Instagram & Facebook social media accounts. While I will still use the Intrinsic Paths & Pedestrian Dignity accounts (for now), I am excited to bring more capacity to:
- Making more art. I can't tell you how much joy and affirmation I feel when making & sharing my art. It feels like coming home. See my shop: https://lnkd.in/gbk5ENG
- Long walks. My #1 medicine. My primary teacher. Creative ideas for drawing, writing, and community collaboration form beautiful threads when I protect more time for this. In addition to personal walks, I also aim to host more full-day walking experiences AND make the routes I use more available to the public.
- "ARTivism" alongside Pedestrian Dignity +. Exploration in using my art, poetry, spoken word, and media to move education, empathy, connection & advocacy in mobility/racial/environmental justice spaces, systems, campaigns, etc.
- Going deeper with you, with the natural world, with each other. I am committed to continue curating, offering, co-creating, and experimenting with a variety of virtual, in-person, and walking/moving gatherings to help us heal, connect, rest, feel, grow, and slow down. This also includes Walk2Connect programming with America Walks. See https://lnkd.in/g3HK3Ecu.
I can't do this work at the level I imagine without patrons. If you are already a patron (or if you have been one in the past), thank you in every way for how you have showed up for me and my work.
I want to continue gifting hundreds of art prints at markets. I want to continue hosting a wide variety of walks/events without hard fees. I crave utmost creative freedom when it comes to the Pedestrian Dignity project, commission projects, and meaningful collaborations. Patrons help to make all of this possible.
Thank you for taking a brief pause to consider this invitation. Please feel zero pressure. Patreon is, has been, and will always be a flowing stream - people moving in, moving out, increasing, decreasing. There is also a "free member" option. Visit the page linked in the comments to learn more.
