Congratulations to our graduating class of HRM Junior Docents! The 16 seniors in the Junior Docent Class of 2024 were accepted to an impressive roster of schools: Universal Technical Institute, Inc. Case Western Reserve University, Stony Brook University, Vaughn College, Temple University, Manhattan College, Hunter College, Lehigh University, University at Buffalo, Muhlenberg College, and Mercy University. As an additional sign of their achievements, our seniors have been offered more than $1 million in scholarships! The Junior Docent Program is a nationally-recognized model for teen programming. Students from Yonkers Public Schools are in the program for a full 4 years, learning about art, science, and history while strengthening skills in communication, critical thinking, and leadership. We’re so proud of our Junior Docents as they embark on a new era in their lives and education. We know they will go on to accomplish great things!
