Did you know a perfume smell can change depending on your skin type, pH levels and body temperature? This is how it varies: → Oily skin holds and intensifies fragrances, making the perfume last longer. Perfumes with citrus notes like grapefruit and lemon are ideal for a refreshing balance to the natural oils. → Fragrances on dry skin may evaporate quickly and require reapplication. Perfumes with oriental and spicy notes, along with moisturizing ingredients like sandalwood and vanilla, work best to retain moisture. → Normal skin, being neither too oily nor too dry, allows most fragrances to stay true to their original composition. Perfumes with balanced notes like rosemary are meant for this skin type. Not just this but external factors like humidity, temperature and diet also influence how a perfume smells on you.
