Last Will & Testament Going to touch on a subject that makes many people uncomfortable - making your last Will and Testament. Whether you want to admit it or not, we all die and unless you have a plan, you better believe the smelly stuff will hit the fan after you're gone. The wife and I drew up our first Last Will & Testament in our 30's. Life has taken several turns since then, so we have revised it multiple times over the years. Can only speak from our experience, we use an on line service - make revisions within minutes - easy peasy and cost effective. Depending on where you're at in life, you may want to include how & where you want to be buried or cremated. You will want to group personal items together for bequeathment or just have everything go to auction and divide up the proceeds to friends, family and/or charities or any number of combinations. Maybe asking yourself "Why is Robert bringing this up? Is he trying to tell us something?" The answer is, "Yes - I am trying to tell you something." Death is something that happens to all of us, no getting out of it, so plan accordingly to remove as much burden and turmoil off your family and friends as possible and to ensure everything you worked so hard for, goes to the people and charities you supported in life. Personally, I plan on being around for a very long time to continue to aggravate my beautiful wife but if that changes, I feel confident that we got things covered.
