HTI creates upstream solutions with outsized impact. Many anti trafficking efforts focus on awareness or caring for survivors. These are essential, but if we don’t invest in stopping traffickers, then they exploit more victims who need more care. By stopping traffickers, we not only free current victims, but prevent countless others from ever experiencing the horrors of trafficking in the first place. We do this through effective law enforcement. Many traffickers are only willing to engage in their crime if there is no meaningful cost in doing so. But when law enforcement teams impose serious costs on traffickers, seizing profits and sending them to jail, trafficking begins to collapse as traffickers decide the risk isn’t worth it. Learn more about HTI’s unique approach and the impact its making in our 2023 Annual Report here: https://lnkd.in/emZ_Na8c #RootCause #SustainableSolutions #Antitrafficking #StopTraffickers #HTI #HumanTraffickingInstitute

Each January, we focus on bringing awareness to and preventing human trafficking and stalking, two victimization types AAFV supports. 33% of Idaho women and 38.2% of Idaho men experience intimate partner violence and/or stalking in their lifetimes. 2022 Crime in Idaho report shows law enforcement agencies around the state reported 36 offenses of human trafficking last year. Although it is a 414% increase from 2021, many advocates say the data does not paint an accurate picture of how prevalent human trafficking is in Idaho. #Awareness #survivorsvoices #aafv

Veteran - Will defend the US Constitution - pro family - pro integrity - pro honor - Will talk about anything BUT CRYPTO. NO SOLICITING!!! Need an opinion or some advice??? I have plenty!! Just ask!!
Have you heard Left’s violent crime event counts are down? What if…? What if the count is down because such crime is not reported as often? What if the attack on law enforcement has had a negative effect on their ability to arrest perpetrators? What if arrested violent criminals are quickly released with little to no bail? What if victims of violent crime find it is increasingly ineffective to report it? What if criminals now find there are fewer serious consequences to their participating in violent crimes? Wouldn’t it make sense then that the Democrat’s reporting of violent crime going down is a crafted lie?
