We have recently worked with MHP Group and Ocado Retail Ltd on their recent PR campaign that centre around incredible new insights that customers became more savvy with their savings in order to be able to treat themselves to little luxuries. We explored the psychological insights behind why this new customer behaviour has appeared. Our founder Kate Nightingale (Kasia Slowikowska) also acted as a spokesperson for this campaign talking to various journalists about these fascinating changes to consumer behaviour. Are you working on a PR campaign for a consumer brand and would like to include psychological insights to strengthen your message? Talk to us and see how we can help. #pr #marketing #consumerbehaviour #press #campaign #psychology #consumerpsychology #retailpsychology #customerexperience #spokesperson Rio Smith Mary Dulwich Millie Sketch Caroline Doyle

Marketers face a paradox: the more they know about their consumers, the less they seem to truly understand them. Great read from my business partner, and work husband Gareth Brock who has explored why brands must go beyond raw data and cultivate authentic intimacy by engaging consumers as people, not just numbers. Link in the comments to the piece. Thanks for the write up Mediaweek Australia #brandactivation #data #PR #thoughtleadership #digtialactivation

PHWOAR It's the second Bull's Eye Trends guest post of the year! 🎯 🔮 Ahead of Feb, we've got exclusive insights from Domino's PR Manager, Sam Wilson – fresh from the success of the pizza chain's recent "Heat Suit" creative campaign (don't act like you didn't see it). So how exactly should brands and comms professionals approach 2024? "Customers engage and disengage with brands rapidly. This will only intensify in 2024 as cash continues to be strapped. Our job as comms connoisseurs is to deliver impact through a shit-hot campaign that grabs front-of-mind attention and keeps it there. "Digitally integrated campaigns with 17,567 steps to view a piece of content will alienate consumers quicker than a T-Swift concert sells out. "Go big, be cool or deliver an emotional gut punch as simply as possible. When comms is your brand's mouthpiece, don’t waffle. Be the comedic relief or the WhatsApp story. “Take the mickey out of Chelsea with a billboard or hijack Cheltenham but do it with an amazing picture and a solid insight. The story sells itself, and in turn, the brand." #CommsTrends #2024Predictions #2024trends #BullsEyeTrends

Had a great potential client call this afternoon, where they asked a compelling question: should they mostly focus on hyperlocal press? My answer was no, if they planned to be an upscale, well-known brand and sell primarily online to customers worldwide. Why limit themselves to one small area? While it's great to be featured in local press, the majority of their ideal clients are across the country. I recommended a national approach, with attention paid to regions where their target audiences and future retail partners are located. #publicrelations #pragency #publicrelationsconsultant #prconsultant #mediarelations

The humble press office is often overlooked in PR, hiding in the shadows of trendy campaigns, fancy stunts and AI generated giant puffer jackets on Big Ben. When it comes to consumer PR, especially in the FMCG sector, if you're not featuring alongside your competitors in listicles and roundups, providing relevant expert comment, tips and advice, or getting regular reviews of your products on trusted sites, then you might as well not exist in the eyes of many consumers. And don't just take my word for it... 💻81% of all consumers conduct research before buying a product 📖98% say they read online reviews at least “occasionally” while 77% say they read them “frequently” or “always.” Hatch has run the press office for the iconic British brand Russell Hobbs for many years now, with new product releases, reviews, gift guides, and reactive and proactive press office activity forming our core output. In 2023 we had the most successful year to date: 📰 1,303 pieces of coverage - featuring in every major national title and key lifestyles like GQ, Good Housekeeping, Ideal Home, Cosmopolitan and many more 📈 A potential reach of 2.7 billion 🔗 over 70% including a link If you want to raise brand awareness and get your product in the news (A LOT) then get in touch alexhalls@hatch.group #PR #pressoffice #traditionalpr #digitalpr #brandawareness

“To get people to talk about your brand, you need to have something for them to talk about” You could start from the very basic like why your product is unique, what added value you have included in your product, how you’re impacting your community amongst others. By all means, communicate something about your brand. The more your brand is being talked about positively, the more you’re increasing brand awareness and influencing perceptions about your brand. #faithsenam #becoming #womeninpr #prwoman #fashionpr #beautypr #lifestylepr #fashioncommunication #fashionpublicist #TuesdayThoughts #styleyouup #prtips #pr #prpro
