FEMA recently announced $26.3 million in awards for the National Dam Safety Program (NDSP) State Assistance Grant Program to enhance dam safety efforts nationwide. The funding is intended to help US states and territories ensure dam safety, protect their communities from flooding, avoid disaster costs, and strengthen their resilience to climate change. The NDSP funds are available for any state or territory with an established dam safety program.
