#HYVOLUTION has reached its third day. The first two days brought significant results for the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association. In addition to numerous business meetings, István Lepsényi (Chairman) and Attila Lakatos (Head of communication) on behalf of the Association met with Jorgo Chatzimarkakis (CEO HYDROGEN EUROPE) and participated in the GHIAA (Global Hydrogen Association) General Assembly and the Alliance signed the 3 Seas Agreement (hydrogen initiative of the Central European and Baltic States) #hydrogen #hyvolution #hungarianhydrogen #ghiaa

NAHV at EU Hydrogen Research Days Today, the coordinator of the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley (NAHV - North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley ), Dr. Jerneja Sedlar presented challenges and innovations of the initiative comprising 37 partners from three target territories: Croatia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia Autonomous region of Italy and Slovenia, at the EU Hydrogen Research Days organised by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, This is a side event of the European Hydrogen Week, which is taking place in Brussels next week, on 22nd November 2023.   The hydrogen valleys are fresh new industrial activity areas to carry out hydrogen production on a large scale. During the NAHV project, 17 pilots will be developed to redistribute the overproduced energy of the local industries to produce hydrogen. 🌐 Mari Savel and Rainer Küngas are representing Stargate Hydrogen IPCEI at the 2nd General Assembly of the IPCEI Hydrogen waves Hy2Tech and Hy2Use, the event is hosted by the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Climate Action. 🔎 About the event: IPCEI Hydrogen is aimed at innovation as well as demonstration and deployment of hydrogen technology. The event consists of four combined clusters of projects from more than half of the European Union member states and from Norway. The projects take place in the complete value chain of hydrogen: production, import, transportation as well as end use. 🔔 The General Assembly will be followed by the 1st IPCEI Hydrogen Conference. Today, the Important Projects of Common European Interest (#IPCEI) that are focusing on #Hydrogen are meeting in Berlin for the 2nd IPCEI General Assembly. Tomorrow, at the IPCEI Conference, Mari Savel and I will have a chance to share some of the many results that Stargate Hydrogen has achieved in its project so far. Today, I’m honoured and thankful to the Members of Hydrogen Europe Research for being re-elected to the Executive Board as the Chair for Mobility, an area where we still have significant challenges to attend to and targets to reach. Hydrogen Europe Research (HER) truly represents the European Research Community in Europe through the Association’s 150+ Members, and is one of the Owners of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. It has been a pleasure to be involved from the HER Association was founded in March 2008, and since then it has not only represented the Research Community but also contributed to shaping the European Research Area and facilitating the implementation of hydrogen technologies in multiple sectors. #Hydrogen will play a pivotal role in decarbonising the transport sector. As supplement to battery electric propulsion, hydrogen and its carriers will be the most adequate and best suited fuels for larger vehicles/vessels on longer range/missions. An example were this will be demonstrated, is the SINTEF-coordinated H2Accelerate TRUCKS project. With this, SINTEF is consolidating our strategic engagement and commitment to foster a global leading hydrogen industry in Europe, underpinning SINTEF's scientific contribution to development and implementation of hydrogen technologies.

Today, Ivan-Petar Yovchev, Officer for Regions & Skills held a keynote speech at the European Regions for Hydrogen Society event, organised by #H2Europe's Regional Pillar Member MédioTejo21/IrRADIARE.   The event was aimed at promoting #interregionalcoordination, focusing on #maritime regions to promote the expansion of the #hydrogenmarket.
