Nominee: Promising product category contributor in Southern Africa region. An experienced Business Analyst| Product Owner| Product Manager-OPEN TO OPPORTUNITIES ABROAD
I’ve never seen any other role that can interchangeably be put in any domain and still succeed like us BAs, thats the whole point of being an analyst we don’t work based on familiarity our role requires a lot of adaptive skills and thinking, coupled with extensive research but one thing a Business Analyst can do is come up with necessary recommendations and solutions. Really baffles me when companies are still so closed up about the capabilities of a BA and regard them as not having a experience within a certain domain. Do recruiters just follow the script or understand the depth of skills set required of it.
Why do employers ask for Business Analyst candidates who have previous experience in their industry or domain? There are probably good reasons for this. So what are they, and how can Business Analysts and recruiters work together to counteract these requests and convince employers that a good Business Analyst can come into any industry and domain without previous industry experience and do just as good job or even better?

Senior Business Analyst | Specialization in Product Management | Crafting solutions from inception to delivery
In my opinion, there should always be a learning gap between the work requirement and the employee who does it. The gap allows the employee to push him beyond the limits to learn and implement which will help companies in growing, standardizing and innovating. #businessanalyst #industry #employees #work #software

Poject Manager | Product Manager | Business Analyst | Scrum Master | Product Owner | Product Analyst
A common observation that I have seen that Technical Analyst and Business Analyst are very similar but have different roles, as most of the companies don't understand and utilize resources as under one title "Business Analyst". Technical analysts focus on technical methods to extract technical solutions essential for the business. Works on technical aspects of the business or investment. Business analysts work on the overall aspect of the business. The Business Analyst is required to understand the requirements of project objectives and goals and need to write the scope to ensure the product or project in one statement. #technicalanalyst #businessanalyst #project #software #development

Everyone has a bit of a Business Analyst in them. It’s not about being called a Business Analyst but it is about performing tasks of a Business Analyst. I am sure we all can relate to buying a television at home. The family wanting to buy a new TV talks to every family member to gather their requirements (stakeholder engagement), liaise with various vendors (vendor engagement), study the various brands and its features (solution options analysis), ensure the solution meets the requirements (Solution Evaluation) and then buy and install the TV. So you see we all do these tasks that a Business Analyst does in our day to day life. Some do it more than others because they do this for a living. #businessanalyts.
