A Season to Give, A Season to Care! In this 21st century, as we celebrate the progress of our world and its population of over 8 billion, there’s still a heartbreaking truth: nearly 700 million people—9.2% of the global population—live in extreme poverty. In places like Ali Ibra or so-called "Kolonia:, this reality is very obvious. There are children who have never owned a pair of new shoes or socks —things we often take for granted and call "Essentials". For them, what we call “essentials” for them is an unreachable fantasy. It’s the holiday season—a time of giving, sharing, and spreading joy. But in their world, there are no fairy lights, no feasts, and no Santa. Santa cannot reach them. But what if YOU could? What if your kindness became their miracle? Imagine the sparkle in a child’s eyes when they receive something as simple as warm clothes or a meal. Just imagine the joy of knowing YOU made that happen. Every small act of love, every thoughtful gesture, can light up their world in ways we cannot imagine. Let’s turn this season into a celebration of compassion and humanity. Together, we can become the reason they smile, the reason they feel hope, and the reason they believe that magic does exist. This holiday season, let’s show that Santa exists in all of us. Every industry and sector today is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by the global push towards sustainability. But what does sustainability really mean? In plain words, sustainability is about considering the larger community in everything we do. It is about being mindful of the impact our actions and even our inactions have on the people and communities around us. It is not just about individual gain; it is about contributing to the collective good. Imagine asking yourself why you want to be a doctor, a lawyer, or an engineer: Is it just to become rich and famous? Or is it to play your part in making society safer and better for everyone, now and for future generations? Sustainability has become my watchword. Contribution over competition has become my guiding principle. Seeking ways to impact the lives around me has become my mission, and I am proud to take small but meaningful steps toward this goal. You too can make an impact, no matter how small. I am particularly excited about an upcoming charity visit to De Marillac Centre, Hope for Street Children. Spreading the message of faith, hope, and love to these children will create a ripple effect, fostering positive change in our society. Let us all strive to contribute and inspire others in our journey toward a sustainable future.
