In a perfect world, every camera unit will have the same optical center, tilt, rotation, and back focal distance (BFD) and the sensor placements need to be specified and verified just once before applying to each unit while imaging. However, in the real world, each component of a camera will have slight differences. This results in having to adjust the camera's tilt, rotation and optical setup for different specifications every time, or worse yet having to return and wait for a replacement camera because the optical specs are outside the tolerance levels. Our partner LUCID Vision Labs, Inc. applies Active Sensor Alignment while manufacturing their cameras to minimize unit deviations and ensure quality imaging. During the sensor placement process, the center of the sensor is placed at the lens optical axis and the placement system actively adjusts the sensor position based on the real-time measurement of image center, rotation, tilt and back focal distance. This ensures images are sharp and crisp, even in the corners. Six Sense Mobility, a Mumbai-based smart mobility company, has secured Rs 6 crore in its initial round from Piper Serica VC, an angel investment firm. The company had previously secured funding from Saurabh Nayyar (Docbel Group). The proceeds will be allocated to the expansion of its team, the expansion of its production capacity, and the research and #development of technologies that enhance vehicle safety. Q: Michal, you say I can save 1 million EUR in logistics? A: Yes. And in Eastern Europe. 17 x €60,000 = €1,000,000 - a customer cut 17 vehicles: 👉 You should have max. 8 forklifts per 10,000 sqm. If you have more, you have space for improvement. 👉 In Eastern Europe, 1 forklift costs you ca. 60k yearly - vehicle itself, plus 3 employees on 3 shifts, 👉 This particular customer has a 30,000 sqm big plant and had 37 vehicles.
