It is well known that LiFePO4 lithium battery will have a higher upfront price point compared to lead acid batteries. However, the LiFePO4 lithium battery are obviously is most cost-effective long term than lead acid batteries, particularly when we take all factor into consideration, including the lifespan, depth of charge/discharge, maintenance cost etc., when you calculate all details carefully, you pay for less upfront price, but you need replace the lead acid battery many times during the lifespan of a single LiFePO4 lithium battery.
