🌐 News from the Once-Only Forum of the European Commission! 🚀 Thrilled to share that I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Once-Only Forum for Citizens organized by the European Commission. As one of the first individuals, I had the privilege of testing the Once-Only Technical System, aiming to streamline cross-border administrative procedures in the EU. The forum aimed to collect firsthand experiences, including mine, to understand how this Technical System will significantly enhance current administrative processes. 🇪🇺 I firmly believe that interoperability is a key element in positioning public organizations for a future-proof digital transformation. In the realm of IT and administration, it signifies the compatibility of various information systems used within an administration, ensuring seamless data exchange. This is crucial to eliminate duplicate entries, prevent inconsistencies, and enhance efficiency and collaboration across different departments.💻 The ultimate goal? Establishing a modern, connected administration built on standardised methods and technologies. Exciting times ahead as we pave the way for a more efficient, interconnected public administration system in the EU. ⭐#CREMEIN2023 In April we held hybrid Productivity from Below (PFB) Knowledge Exchange Workshop on the topic of business support for #microbusinesses in collaboration with @AstonUniveristy and @CityREDI, @unibirmingham🤝🎓💭 The key 🔑 objectives were to: 🔹To map 🗺 the business support ecosystem in #Birmingham📍and the wider West Midlands. 🔹To identify the main providers within the# business #support ecosystem and whether ‘new providers have emerged/ ‘old’ providers have disappeared or remained.  🔹 To identify how the Covid-19 🌡 crisis is impacting the need for, and delivery of, business support. 🔹 To assess whether the business support ecosystem is fit for purpose concerning the business support needs of #microbusinesses, particularly ethnic minority and migrant micro businesses.
