📢 At the Energy Hub Italy - H2 Corridor to Europe in Milan, organized by the Foreign Trade Mission of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, our Dr.iur. Massimiliano Coco MIM, MBA had fruitful discussions with potential business partners, decision-makers and experts in the #hydrogen sector from the industrial regions of Northern Italy. These included the railroad infrastructure operator FNM S.p.A., as well as Italian providers of hydrogen solutions and utilities such as A2A, the industrial association Assolombarda, the Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK innovation hub and the H2IT - Associazione Italiana Idrogeno . The participation of the Italian gas network operator Snam S.p.A., which plans to supply Austria and Germany with #GreenHydrogen through the South2corridor from Tunisia and Algeria via Italy and Austria to Bavaria by 2030 at the latest, strengthened the cooperation. 🔭 𝐉𝐇𝟐𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩: 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 The final day at JH2T provided valuable opportunities for strategic discussions and industry insights. 💬We engaged in a substantive dialogue with Philippe BOUCLY, President of France Hydrogène, about initiating a #European reflection phase to address the growing interest from multiple stakeholders in the hydrogen sector. Thanks also to Nathalie LOCH - VIALLE and AERBFC for their support. 🍃Our team also visited the local hydrogen production facility, where we received detailed explanations from Haudebert Guillaume (Technical director Inthy) & Fabrice LUCOTTE (EPC Project Manager at COLIBRI ENERGIE)on the processes involved in hydrogen production and storage. This visit, orchestrated by Dijon métropole, allowed us to better understand the practical challenges and applications of hydrogen technology. 🔁Additionally, we toured the ERU (Energy Recovery Unit) with its director, Damien de MALLIARD, observing how Dijon transforms urban waste into energy that powers local infrastructure. ⚡ Journées Hydrogène dans les territoires was a productive venue for connecting with existing clients, meeting new contacts, and deepening our understanding of the #hydrogen market. We wish all of our NAHV partners the best of luck. The establishment of the first transnational hydrogen valley is essential for the entire EU. Not only in terms of the hydrogen economy, as is commonly shown, but also in cross-border regulatory coordination. Common legislation governing hydrogen infrastructure must be agreed upon and accepted by all three governments. The North Adriatic Hydrogen valley has started this September❣🥳 🤝 In their kick-off meeting and press conference in Portorož, 🇸🇮, the institutional representatives of the consortium partners from Croatia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Slovenia welcomed the interested public. Our Interim Executive Director Mirela Atanasiu gave a statement on the project initiation: 💬 “The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is proud to support the creation of the first integrated and transnational green hydrogen ecosystem in the north Adriatic region with a 25 million grant. The project will contribute to the European Commission’s ambitions of doubling the numbers of Hydrogen Valleys in Europe, and advance the decarbonisation of the energy, transport and industry sectors whilst contributing to job creation and economic growth in the region.” With its impressive collaboration of 37 public and private organisations from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia, the North Adriatic cross-border Hydrogen Valley reflects the true European and collaborative nature of the project, and can serve as a blueprint for similar Hydrogen Valleys across and beyond Europe. In addition to numerous business meetings, István Lepsényi (Chairman) and Attila Lakatos (Head of communication) on behalf of the Association met with Jorgo Chatzimarkakis (CEO HYDROGEN EUROPE) and participated in the GHIAA (Global Hydrogen Association) General Assembly and the Alliance signed the 3 Seas Agreement (hydrogen initiative of the Central European and Baltic States) #hydrogen #hyvolution #hungarianhydrogen #ghiaa

Fluxys Belgium and Creos Luxembourg are taking their partnership to new heights! 🤝🚀 Today, in the margin of the State Visit by Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg to the Kingdom of Belgium, a Letter of Intent is signed by Laurence Zenner, CEO of Creos Luxembourg, and Pascal De Buck, CEO of Fluxys, outlining a future collaboration in the field of hydrogen infrastructure. This partnership, signed in the presence and with the support of the Ministers of Energy Tinne Van der Straeten and Lex Delles, signals a step forward in establishing the European Hydrogen Backbone, enabling industries in both Belgium and Luxembourg to decarbonise their activities. 🏭🌎 Moreover, the intensified collaboration entails evaluating cross-border hydrogen transport, developing legislative frameworks, and analysing funding programs that could support the construction of hydrogen infrastructure in both countries. #together #hydrogen #infrastructure #decarbonisation

H2CE at Green Hydrogen Innovation Congress in Dresden Representatives of the Ústí Region (Economic and Social Council of the Ústí Region), who are project partners in the H2CE project, had the pleasure of attending the second "Green Hydrogen Innovation Congress 2024" on 29 May 2024 in Dresden, the capital of the Free State of Saxony. The Free State is recognized as one of the leading European regions for the introduction and expansion of the green hydrogen economy. The congress, which followed the motto "Accelerating the global hydrogen market through regional cooperation", focused on the entire hydrogen value chain and highlighted the importance of regional initiatives in implementing national and European hydrogen strategies. During the congress, representatives of the Economic and Social Council of the Ústí Region informed their counterparts from Germany and Poland about the H2CE project and its implementation process and discussed various aspects. They had also the opportunity to discuss with Sigune Schmidt-Ulbrich from REG Nordwestbrandenburg, who are also project partners in the H2CE project.
