CATL's 20' shipping container battery claims it can store a staggering 6.25 gigawatts of electricity without degradation for five years and is suitable for an impressive 15,000 charge cycles. What's more, it could potentially last for 20 years or more, setting a new standard in energy storage. 👏Bravo National Renewable Energy Laboratory!!! I’ve never been so excited about wave energy! 🌊 More sea walls and breakwaters are something we literally needed yesterday around the world. Coastal communities and infrastructure are increasingly flooding due to more frequent storms and rising sea levels. At the same time, land constrained coastal communities and ports need more options for affordable and resilent clean power. My initial cost estimates project that the clean power from some of these systems has potential to cost less than offshore wind in the US, offering a new low-cost clean energy option that simultaneously helps us adapt to rising sea levels. We at RCAM Technologies are dedicated to developing new low cost, 3-D concrete printedsupport structures for renewable energy. We have two new innovative solutions that we are submitting to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Tuesday and will unveil soon publically. They are entirely different than what you see here, naturally.
