i was labelled a painfully shy and dumb kid. now i’m building a public brand. (still fighting those labels? here’s how i’m rewriting my story at 40.) at 12, i already had my first psychiatrist and a growing list of labels: • speech impediment • learning disability • childhood trauma • depression • bulimia • anxiety • adhd • ocd in my 30s, my mom confessed: "we thought you might live with us forever.” (imagine how bad it must have been for her to think that?) for a long time, i let those labels define me and control my: • confidence • self-worth • actions • beliefs and story. the one i told myself and the one i told others. i’ve achieved a lot... • worked in the nba • played uni basketball • graduated with honours • co-founded 2 companies but i’ve deeply struggled as an entrepreneur and putting myself “out there.” so, when i faced (yet another) burnout last september, i knew i had no choice but to start understanding why. • i reflected on my life. • sought help from coaches. • and worked with ai to discover my actual story. all of which helped me find it... a deep and detrimental limiting belief: i’m not worthy or enough, just as i am. it’s been close to a year, and i’ve still got a lot of work to do. but now i see the formula that led to my newfound hope and confidence: 1: i discovered my real story 2: i began seeing my unique characteristics 3: i uncovered a personal brand that feels authentic and patiently, i’m leveraging that brand to get paid by helping people, just like you, do the same. good news? i can show you my exact steps tomorrow FREE workshop, august 15th, 2024 at 12pm est get paid more with a differentiated personal brand (that sells for you).
