The Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) is a comprehensive metric that encompasses all production costs over the lifetime of a hydrogen production technology, including both capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX). This makes it a valuable tool for comparing the economic viability of different hydrogen production methods. Hydrogen Europe, in their annual report, utilizes LCOH to assess various technologies.
