💥 "One thing leads to another, one small decision, taken at the right time can compound into unimaginable results." 💥 -said Mr. Salman Quraishi Head of Sales at Zerodha, at the SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Hyderabad orientation ceremony. Listening to Mr. Quraishi's journey was nothing short of inspiring 🛡 . Following in his brother's footsteps, he initially took an IT job in Luxembourg. However, after just a few days, he realized that the path he had chosen was not meant for him. Motivated by the character portrayed by Will Smith in "The Pursuit of Happyness," 🔅 he decided to pivot towards finance. Starting from zero, he began his journey as a sales guy, tirelessly pursuing potential customers to open demat accounts. ☑ For 12 years, Mr. Quraishi served as the AVP of Sales, eventually rising to his current position as Head of Sales for the past five years. Under the leadership of Nithin Kamath sir🔰 and efforts of Salman sir, Zerodha has experienced phenomenal growth, setting new benchmarks in the industry. The most important piece of advice he shared with us today was to be good with people, even in a competitive environment. He emphasized that collaboration and cooperation can truly help you grow in the corporate world. Mr. Quraishi's story is a testament to the ✳ power of resilience, determination, and the impact of making the right decisions at the right time.
