Hyundai Motor Company Australia’s Post

We are proud to announce that the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, our high-performance battery-electric vehicle, has been awarded the prestigious Wheels Magazine Car of the Year 2024-25. As the longest-running Car of the Year award in the world, this honor reflects the IONIQ 5 N’s groundbreaking design and performance. Following a week of rigorous testing on Victorian roads, it was judged the best of 25 finalists by an expert panel, including five former Wheels editors and current editor Andy Enright. “The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N has achieved what seemed impossible: blending the performance and fun of a combustion sports car with the innovation and response of an EV,” said Mr. Enright. Hyundai Motor Company Australia CEO, Ted Lee, expressed gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the efforts of Hyundai teams across South Korea, Europe, and the USA who made this achievement possible. Additionally, the new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid was recognised as one of the top three vehicles, earning praise for its practicality, design, and efficiency. This recognition is a testament to Hyundai's commitment to creating vehicles that redefine mobility and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers. Read more: https://bit.ly/3VHEMd2
