The wish, the hug, the human connection was so brief, it almost felt transactional, not enough to spark a memory that stays with you. It’s no longer about being present or truly experiencing the moment; it’s about creating content. We visit places and celebrate events, not for the way they make us feel but for how they’ll look on a screen. The sunsets, the laughter, the celebrations have all been reduced to pictures and videos for strangers to see, instead of memories for our hearts to hold. What if, one day, technology crashes, and all those posts, pictures, and videos disappear? Would you still remember the moment? The sound of the cheers, the colors in the sky, the feeling of belonging? Or would it all blur into a memory of trying to get the perfect shot?
