Here's how build-to-rent tenants want you to design homes and communities differently (and 3 projects that do it right) ⬇ 1️⃣ Include enough storage. What does "enough" mean? It depends on the product type - Cottage home tenants think about storage differently than Single-Family Detached or Rowhome tenants. Farm Haus by AHV Communities (architecture by KTGY) accomplishes this with a pantry that utilizes space under the stairs. 2️⃣ Create spaces to gather outdoors. If you are catering to families, kids need space to play outdoors... and "on the street" doesn't cut it. Tenants need a space to work from home. That said, it doesn't need to be a full formal office.
