Join us October 23-25, 2024, as we host lightning talks, ignite talks, and more! The theme for the Virtual Forum is 'Looking Ahead: Teaching and Learning in a Virtual/Digital Era.' The virtual forum is designed for all interested in teaching, designing, and leading health professions sciences curricula. Participants include students & trainees, basic scientists, providers, clinicians, and other faculty from across various healthcare and educational disciplines. Continuing Medical Education is important in ensuring health care workers are continuously learning and kept abreast with the latest changes in patient care and treatment, technology and health policies informed by valid statistics and health research. One such platform is the PNG Annual Medical Symposium that brings together Medical researchers, clinicians and health administrators to share scientific research, experiences and best care practices. This year's Medical Symposium theme was "Burden of trauma and its impact on health and socio-economic well-being". Together with its partners, WPHA contributed this years Medical Symposium 1 oral presentation in the Plenary session, 9 poster presentations and 2 oral presentations in the Public Health Specialty Meeting. Below shows the specialist doctors in front of the posters of their research studies.
