Why should I get a 𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 for my 𝗡𝗘𝗪 vehicle? Even a brand new vehicle comes with a certain amount of surface discrepancies caused by the manufacturing line, the transport between dealerships or technicians at dealerships hand washing the vehicle inappropriately. Paint correction will bring your surface to a level of shine that never existed before, which, in many ways, can add value that was never there before. If you plan to hang on to your vehicle as an investment and eventually trade it in, paint correction is a must at one point or another. Why not consider starting the life of your new vehicle the best way possible with a flawless finish.

If you're planning to resell or trade your vehicle in the future, it's worth considering Paintless Dent Repair. When you trade in a vehicle, and the dealership discovers that a panel has been repainted, they typically assume the worst – that the vehicle has been in an accident. To safeguard their future customers, they may offer you less money for your vehicle. By opting for Paintless Dent Repair, you can maintain the original paint finish and avoid any suspicion of previous damage - maximizing the value of your vehicle when it comes time to sell or trade.

Final video on the Mercedes seat repair REPAIR METHOD: 1. Tidy up the damaged area and in this case I applied some non-solvent glue to secure the flap 2. Take a mould replication of the grain, see the post before this one on how to do that 3. Whilst the mould is curing clean the area being repaired 4. Lightly key it with 320-400 & re-clean 5. Now the mould is cured you can apply some low temp vinyl filler over the damaged area, heating it up and applying the imprint mould (only light pressure is needed, too much and you distort the grain) 6. Repeat if necessary 7. Lightly sand the repair and surrounding area with 600-800, re-clean 8. Apply your colour Step back and appreciate your work 😉 #damageundone #smartrepair #smartrepairs #smallbusiness #interiorrepairs #seatrepairs Dremel Power Tools Sagola UK Peter Bloem Amy Hayes #mercedes #mercedesbenz #cars #automotive #automotiveindustry #autodetailing

Avoid falling prey to diminished value. Whenever your vehicle undergoes repainting or part replacement, it experiences a decline in worth. When you decide to trade in your vehicle, you may receive an offer of $16,000 instead of the perceived value of $18,000. This occurs because dealers tend to assume the worst when they see a repainted car. Instead, opt for Paintless Dent Repair, which can help maintain the value of your vehicle. 📈

A new customer contacted the workshop team towards the end of last year. He’d owned this stunning 190 SL since 2016 and thought it was time for a thorough Health Check. Whilst our Health Check confirmed a cosmetically beautiful and structurally sound car, it also highlighted that it might be the right time for some preventative mechanical intervention to enhance the car's usability, drivability and futureproof his investment. Our workshop team has completed: - Engine rebuild: The car now has a healthy, crisp running unit that will provide another 50 years of life. - Full mechanical brakes overhaul: Confidence now found when keeping up with modern traffic. - Axle refurbishment: Quieter running. - Suspension components powder coating with all new bushes: The ride is now compliant and the car protected from corrosion. - Carburettor upgrade from Solex to Weber: Achieving more reliability, consistent fuelling and some extra BHP! - Rolling road set up: Rollers simulate road conditions allowing our highly skilled technicians to dial in the perfect timing and fuelling adjustments. The customer is delighted with the outcome. We’ve instilled confidence in the car and elevated the pleasure he’s getting from driving and owning this beautiful car. #SLSHOP #classicmercedesbenz

Using automotive masking tape is recommended when taping up a broken glass on your vehicle before getting it fixed to avoid potential damage to the vehicle's paint. Many customers resort to using duct tape, gorilla tape, or clear packaging tape in such situations, which can leave behind adhesive residue that is difficult to remove and may harm the paint when peeled off. As an auto glass shop owner, we prefer not to remove the adhesive or existing tape on the paint after replacing the glass to avoid any potential damage. Therefore, it is crucial to choose the right tape, such as automotive masking tape, that is designed for automotive applications to ensure easy removal and prevent any paint damage. Make a wise choice to protect your vehicle's paint when taping up broken glass.

If you're having your vehicle washed at a dealership this is likely going to be what your vehicle will expirence. You are seeing a waterblade being used to dry a black vehicle. Why is this bad? Although a waterblade removes lots of water it has a greater likelyhood of dragging/scratching on the surface of your vehicle paint. Especially a dark colored vehicle. Not to mention the brushes and wands used for the wash process itself. What's the point of this? If you care about how your vehicle looks or have had paint correction and or a ceramic coating installed we highly advise against allowing your dealer to wash your vehicle. Although it may be a "courtesy wash" they are likely doing more harm than good unfortunately. We don't want you throwing your hard earned money away having a high end service performed then being ruined by improper washing. The reality is that most dealerships are in the business of selling cars, not detailing them on a professional level. We urge you to check with your dealer on their process before proceeding. We can also help if you'd like to be extra sure your ride is being cared for by the best! 📞 Call Us: 814-230-6991 🤜 View us online: www.keystonedetailpa.com ✉️ Email us: inquiries@keystonedetailpa.com 🚗 Services Provided: Ceramic Coating, Paint Protection Film, Paint Correction, Window Tint, Auto Detailing 🏠 Keystone Detail 12664 Rt 19 S Unit 2 Waterford, PA 16441 #cardetailingwaterford #cardetailingerie #autodetailing #cardetailingedinboro #ceramiccoatingerie

"Transforming Spaces with Flawless Precision. Interior & Exterior House Painting, Wallpaper removal & application (Residential, Commercial & Industrial)
"What would eventually come to be known as a glove box started out as a tool storage compartment built into the wood-paneled dash of the 1900 Packard Model B. In addition to the car's crank, it also turned out to be a handy place to stash gloves, which were an essential accessory for driving an early 20th century vehicle lacking heat, a hard top, and power steering on the country's mostly unpaved roads."
