Over the years, valuers have been blamed by brokers and lenders left and right for delays, leading to lengthier completion times - but are they actually at fault? The President recently signed into law a measure that includes a two-year amnesty on interests, surcharges, and penalties for unpaid real property tax. The Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA) also aims to standardize real property taxation and valuation across all government agencies.
