New year started good.. A great day spent engaging with the technical team at KNPC, focusing on the site issues related to operation and maintenance of loading arms. Learned how strict KNPC is when it comes to routine maintenance and work flow at site. #sitevisit #technicalsupport #productdevelopment #rotatingequipment #newbusinessdevelopment

A well-known large company was placed on a "watch list" by regulators, and 2Firsts covered the story. In response, the company issued a statement, that they became aware of the issue through media reports and took immediate action. What if 2Firsts had not reported the incident? Would the company have responded with the same sincerity and proactivity to address the problem? As I mentioned during the InterTabac presentation, objective and comprehensive media coverage plays a crucial role in ensuring global THR compliance.

National, International, or UNV. G5, P5, or USG. They are just contracts, they don't define who you really are. You can be whoever you want but you are not a contract for sure! Trust me on that :-) Remember, your job doesn't define you. It's just a contract that you have chosen to take up. You have the power to be whoever you want to be, and your job title or contract cannot limit that. Whether you are a National, International, or UNV employee, a G5, P5, or USG worker, always remember that your worth extends far beyond any contract. Let's focus on who we are as individuals and not let our job titles define us.

IM BACK with another post about two of my favorite things. In both the world of compliance audits (like SOC 2) and the art of Jiu-Jitsu, success is built on a foundation of technique and precision. Whether navigating the complexities of an audit or mastering a new submission on the mat, attention to detail makes all the difference. Just as every grip, position, and movement in Jiu-Jitsu requires careful execution, so does every control, process, and documentation in a SOC 2 audit. Keep in mind that shortcuts can lead to vulnerabilities and that true expertise comes from rigorous practice and relentless dedication. Taking a shortcut in BJJ could make all the difference from staying on top and getting a submission to giving the perfect opening for your opponent to get out and get the upper hand. By perfecting our processes and not taking the easy way out we can build a stronger foundation and strive for the highest standards in EVERYTHING we do. #Compliance #SOC2 #JiuJitsu #Technique #Precision #Excellence #ContinuousImprovement #Mastery

The easiest way to screw up developing and fielding a new weapon system is in the contracting and acquisition process. In the overview section if you discuss requiring ground-breaking technology and mission-focused outcomes, but then when it comes time to submit costs you ask specifically for time and materials, you've already set your program up to fail. "Butts in seats" contracts guarantee over the lifetime of the system cost increases and delays that only get worse over time. Your talent decays over time. And with it, your velocity. Don't talk about an outcome and then measure hours per rate. Weapon systems acquired this way have already failed before they started. If you can't get a contractor to give you a fixed price for the work, it means you are going to be left with a second-rate system. There is nothing wrong with "sprinkling in" a little time and materials. But if over 30% of the contract work is T&M, you are set up to fail in the long run. In 20 years, I've never seen this go well. Prove me wrong 😉
