𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝘃𝗼𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 - 𝗗𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗦ä𝗲 This is the next in the series of short videos in which we hear the views of people who attended DECT World 2024, and who are new to the DECT community. In this second video we hear from Dr Joonas Säe of Tampere University. Joonas was one of our presenters, talking about the Ultra Scalable Wireless Access (USWA) project. This studies how to best utilize the ETSI DECT-2020 new radio (NR) standard/DECT NR+ and related first products in various industrial use cases and what kind of enhancements are beneficial in the standard’s evolution towards 6G. The project focuses on using and further developing the technology for both massive machine type and ultra-reliable low latency communication. On the latest ESPC Show episode, we highlighted the current market activity, indicating a promising outlook until the year's end. A key indicator supporting this positive trend is the notable surge in viewing requests. In July and August, viewing requests saw a significant uptick of around 15% compared to the previous year, with September showing even more promising results. The market looks like it has plenty of fuel in the tank for the rest of the year! #Espc #MarketActivity #Justthefacts
