💡 The extensive Cable Car Congress programme consists of four parts, which will take place consecutively on both days: Urban Development & Cable Cars, Financing & Funding, Planning & Process and Operations & Best Practice. The first part will focus on national and international examples of urban development with cable cars. Afterwards, we will look into private and public financing options and explain the conditions for subsidies. The second day will start with planning-relevant topics and taking a look at a typical process flow for realising cable car projects as quickly and efficiently as possible based on examples from various countries. Finally, specific requirements of operating a cable car in urban areas are analysed by exploring best practices. By creating high-resolution 3D map data, we feel that we are contributing to creating uninterrupted communication in modern cities. VISICOM's latest project is the creation of 3D maps along the Luxembourg railway network.   Luxembourg, despite being one of the smallest sovereign states in Europe, boasts a well-developed railway network that plays a crucial role in facilitating daily commuting for a significant number of people. Around 100 thousand individuals commute to Luxembourg from neighboring France, Belgium, and Germany for work each day, emphasizing the importance of an efficient transport system. The railway network accommodates this influx by considering the commuting patterns, ensuring smooth travel for commuters. It is obvious that such a flow of business community needs perfect real-time communication. Improving connectivity along railway routes requires 5G technology. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Transport Stack initiative in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)/ JICA DXLab (Data and Digital Lab). The Transport Stack is based on concept of Digital Public Infrastructure (#DPI) and Digital Public Goods (#DPG) applied to citizen mobility services and offerings to transport service providers (buses, metros, taxis and last mile mobility players). With this we shall create good open data, protocols and services that can offer value across citizens, transport authorities, govt functions, spur new business innovation and focus on sustainable mobility.
