ICON recently announced a gross weight increase for the A5, raising the useful load to 490 pounds. The process involved close to two years of R&D by our engineering team. Well done Icon 👏… and probably scope for a weight lessening exercise in coming years - with the advent of new engineered materials with higher structural strength-to-weight ratios, leading to an even greater payload capacity, as the basic empty weight is reduced 🤔
