A reflection on yesterday's was fantastic, listening to in workshop 1 ) Jason Selormey, penal discussion,Chair: Chelsea Mc Donagh Reena Anand, Taneisha Pascoe-Matthew and Anthony Sappong. Workshop 3 Prithvi Perepa Autism in minority ethnic communities Workshop 3 Priya - Beyond Steel Drums and Samosas phenomenal sessions. I hope I get to listen to the rest of the sessions through recordings.. including my colleagues Tumi Sotire and Atif Choudhury Reflection on yesterday - One thing I took away is that we must continue advocating for systemic change so equity work doesn’t rely solely on individual champions. Schools need structures—policies, leadership roles, and training programs—that embed cultural commitments at every level. True transformation requires addressing both surface-level representation and systemic inequities, with national data driving accountability and measurable change. The ultimate question is: who is accountable for ensuring our children thrive in the education system?
