International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC’s Post

In times of war, neutrality is not indifference; it is a deliberate way of working to be able to help without taking sides, allowing us to reach those who need it most. Join us and artist Vaskange for a minute of reflection on the serious, often misunderstood role of neutrality in protecting lives and bringing families back together in conflict zones.

This is the best communication material I have ever seen. Really very impressive.

Neutrality is crucial for humanitarian organizations like the ICRC. It allows them to access and assist people affected by conflicts without being perceived as taking sides. This impartial stance helps build trust and ensures aid reaches those in need, regardless of the conflict's dynamics.

Not accurate and not applied equally. Not all wars amount to genocide and ethnic cleansing. Neutrality won't shield anyone from complicity accusations.

This is a very impressive animated story.....it is just tragic that in reality the ICRC is a complete failure, an incompetent institution that has completely abandoned the Israeli hostages being held in Gaza.

I admire its resolution. it is wow !

Given the genocide in the occupied Gaza and the West Bank, humanity and IHL need teeth. Neutrality has no place when a genocide is being committed by an entity that has broken every humanitarian and international law.
